The term “Officer and Gentleman” is not heard much these days. However, that is exactly what Bill was, but also so much more; leader, loyal friend, mentor, strategist, confidante – all carried out with a warm sense of humour and honest realism. He will be forever missed by all of those fortunate enough to know him; who are better people for having enjoyed that great privilege. Gerald
